For My Brothers reviewed by Amos Lassen

“This is a beautiful tribute that seems to repeat itself over and over but within the numbers of the dead and wonderful stories that we want to hold dear and near. I believe that all of us who lived through AIDS/HIV have stories but I doubt that may can tell them as eloquently as does Mark Abramson. I found this hard to read with dry eyes but the catharsis was good for me simply because it made me remember so many and also made me grateful that I made it through. This is a book to be cherished and these stories should never be forgotten. It puts a true human face on those men who are gone—some of the same men who are directly responsible for what we have now.” —- Amos, on his blog
